One thing working in the law firm’s favor was their robust content library, that had years of blogging behind them leaving a wealth of opportunity for SEO in today’s climate.

We first assigned each blog to a Topic Cluster, we then laid out what specific keyword the blogs are targeting and set to work improving those rankings.

We decided on a video first approach to revamping the content. It spoke to the personal nature of this type of law in that the vast majority of people viewed the site on their phones.

We worked video into the blogs and updated the content alongside the template/look and feel of it to make them more shareable. We cross promoted the content on social media and used it to inspire compelling Ad headlines for our paid campaign.

What Was The Result?

The organic audience improved 296% from the same period last year. When we tallied up the dollars, it was an improvement in ROI of more than 400% from similar marketing efforts.

How I Helped a Technology Company Overcome Their Second Page Plateau For a Major Keyword Win

My mission was to help a national real estate technology company with stagnate organic traffic and a second page plateau for their core keyword/offering…Tenant Screening. They happened to be working with another SEO agency in the same town but weren’t quite getting the results they’d hope for in the timeline promised. 😲

What Was The Tech Company Looking to Accomplish?

  2. Increase overall organic traffic to all pages on the website

What Was The Solution?

We started by reverse engineering what was mostly working. The notable keywords on page 3 and page 2 had been just that for quite some time, we looked at WHAT pages were tied to WHAT keywords and HOW many links (internal and external) did that page have.

Then we looked at each page for content needs, media needs, schema needs, metadata and URL structure.

We quickly found the best areas of opportunity to improve the page holding the TS keyword. Rather than start with a new strategy/page like the other SEO companies advice, we made better what was already working for them.

We coupled those on page optimizations with off site amplification via link building efforts.

This was the template that we “rinsed and repeated” for other pages on the website alongside their team’s new content production that aligned more closely with current SEO best practices.

What Was The Result?

We got to the bottom of the first page for “tenant screening” after our fist round of optimizations and republishing. It now sits in the top positions after the link building push.

It contributed to overall organic growth over 180%. The page ranking for TS specifically jumped in value by nearly $40K since last year and indexed an additional 1,000+ keywords on the site.
